With decades of experience in IT Support & Infrastructure Management, Rory Breen is the founding Chairman of Cyber Securities UK. 

Having been intimately involved in supporting the SME sector’s IT requirements for many years, he’s seen at first hand the damage that cyber attack and sloppy backup procedures can wreak on typical businesses.

Rory founded Cyber Securities UK with the specific aim to help protect SME sized businesses against data loss & business threats by assisting them in their journey towards GDPR readiness through improving information governance & cyber security.

Duncan Reid

Managing Director

Three decades of experience in safety critical or restricted defence technologies alongside supporting SME IT Systems means that there’s not much that surprises Duncan, CSUK’s Managing Director.

Well used to the front-line struggle against malware, Duncan is passionate about cyber security and heads CSUK’s Technical Audit capabilities as part of the Cyber Essentials PLUS certification.

Ian Sinclair-Ford

Head of Data Protection

Ian is Cyber Securities UK’s Head of Data Protection. Ian has worked with the Data Protection Act and marketing rules since 1998 when he was Company Solicitor and DPO for Alliance & Leicester Commercial Finance plc until 2007.

Since then he has advised global companies on their pan EU, EU/US and global privacy strategies. More recently Ian has created DataGuardsman an affordable, online self help solution for data privacy, protection and marketing compliance for micro to SME businesses in the UK and is as passionate as the rest of the CSUK team about making GDPR an opportunity rather than a burden for UK SMEs.

With a lifetime’s pedigree in financial sector risk, John is CSUK’s Head of Risk where he demystifies a complex subject for the CSUK Team & Partners. His level headed approach to risk management in the real world provides a stable risk-assessed base for CSUK’s operations.
